Positions and PnL
How open and closed positions are tracked and how equity is calculated.
Positions are lots
Every purchase is a separate position (lot), even if you buy the same outcome again. Lots don't merge: each has its own entry price and its own result.
Where to look
- Trades — all positions across all accounts, with filters by account, status and result, plus sorting and search.
- Account page — open positions and the history of closed ones.
- Event page — your positions on that event under the chart, with a Sell button.
PnL
- An open position is valued at the market's current mid price: unrealized PnL = shares × (current price − entry price) − fee.
- A closed position is valued at the sell price or the event outcome: that's realized PnL.
Account equity
Equity = free balance + open positions at market price. The challenge target and drawdown limits are measured by equity, and the equity chart is shown on the account page.
